Constructed in 1973 and developed by Bond Corporation, Tranby on Swan comprises multiple four-level brick and tile buildings housing some 206 lots, and is recognised as one of the most prominent medium-density developments in Maylands.
With the original electrical infrastructure reaching end of life, the complex is undergoing a site-wide upgrade. Aurum Engineering was engaged by B-Strata and Tranby on Swan to design the replacement of the site main switchboard and site-wide distribution switchboards, together with an embedded metering and management system.
The upgrade future-proofs the development, brings all electrical infrastructure into line with current Australian Standards and regulations, and lets residents benefit from an embedded metering system.
